On this page you can find a list of companies that have signed a license agreement with PANArt.
The license agreement of PANArt implies that the licensee is allowed to use a method of production for metal sound instruments for which PANArt has obtained a patent in the USA and EU. This method opens up the possibility for the instrument builder to produce handpans of good quality.
For handpans of good quality on the one hand you need a good material, on the other hand the art of the tuner is the central element that determines how to obtain a good handpan out of a good material. With the PANArt method the handpan artist will get, metaphorically speaking, a good canvas.
If we refer to a Hang® in this context, we think about a sound sculpture made of Pang® material and with a sound language that lies in the personal responsibility of a PANArt tuner. Working on the metal sheet step by step over the decades the PANArt tuners developed their own way of forming and prestressing the Pang® material.
We wish the handpan builders working for our licensees, that they may find their own ways with the Pang® metal. Only this way they will be able to touch and delight people and continue to successfully develop their company.
